Refund Policy

Fourteen days to decide POS Pilot isn't for you.

Last updated 24 August 2026
The short version. Email support@pospilot.co within 14 days of a payment and we'll refund it to your original payment method. You don't have to justify the decision, and nothing you have entered is deleted.

The 14-day window

Any payment for a Plus or Pro plan — the first one or a renewal, monthly or yearly — can be refunded in full if you ask within 14 days of that payment being taken.

There is nothing to refund on the Free plan, because there is nothing to pay. The Free plan is not a trial with a clock on it: it takes unlimited sales and stays free, which is why we would rather you tried the app properly before paying at all.

How to request one

Email us

Write to support@pospilot.co with "refund" in the subject, from the email address on the subscription — or tell us what that address is.

Tell us which payment

The plan and roughly when you were charged is enough. A receipt or order number from your payment confirmation makes it quicker.

We process it

The refund is issued through Paddle, our payment provider, back to the card or account you paid with. How long it takes to appear on your statement is up to your bank, not us.

You don't need to explain why. If something in the app pushed you to this, we'd genuinely like to hear it — but a refund is not conditional on you telling us.

What happens to your shop

  • Nothing is deleted. Your products, sales, customers and every other record stay exactly where they are.
  • Your account reverts to the Free plan. Paid features stop, and the Free allowances apply again to anything you add from then on.
  • Existing data over the Free limits is not removed. If you added 400 products on a paid plan, all 400 stay; you simply cannot add more until you are back under the limit or on a paid plan again.
  • Export still works. Backup and export are available on every plan, including Free, so you can take everything with you whatever you decide.

Where this doesn't apply

We keep the exceptions narrow and we will always explain which one we are relying on:

  • Requests made more than 14 days after the payment. If you have simply forgotten to cancel before a renewal, write to us anyway — we would rather sort it out than argue about a day or two.
  • Repeated cycles of subscribing and refunding, which we treat as abuse of this policy rather than genuine use of it.
  • Accounts terminated for a material breach of the Terms of Service.

Cancelling instead of refunding

If you are outside the 14 days and just want to stop paying, cancel the subscription rather than asking for a refund. Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep your paid features until the period you have already paid for runs out. Nothing is lost when it ends — you move to the Free plan with your records intact.

Your statutory rights

This policy is offered in addition to any rights you have under the consumer law that applies to you. It does not take those rights away. Because Paddle acts as the merchant of record for your purchase, their own buyer protection terms may also apply to the payment.
